＜中学校編＞～山梨県が旅先ランキング13位→3位になったワケとは～
前回に引き続き、今月に日本旅行業協会が発表した【2020年度全国修学旅行調査速報版】の中から、公式サイトにて一部抜粋されている内容を簡単に読み解いていきたいと思います！
本日は、【中学校の教育旅行先ランキング】に着目してみました！

◇２０２０年度実施の国内修学旅行の実態とまとめ（中学校）＜速報版＞
【都道府県別旅行先トップ20】
～中学校の都道府県別行き先ランキングにて「山梨県」が13位→3位に！～
新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響で全国的に修学旅行の予定変更が相次ぎ、中学校の都道府県別行き先ランキングで昨年度、山梨が京都、奈良に続く3位に躍り出たことがわかった。
修学旅行で山梨を訪れたのは46校で、京都の52校、奈良の47校に次ぐ全国3位だった。
前年度から倍増し、順位も13位から大きく伸ばした。
一方、前年度3位だった東京はランキング外となり、4位だった大阪は16位に下降した。
構成比については、19年度と同じ順位だった京都が前年度比16・2％減、奈良は同13・9％減となり、他県との差が縮まった。
◇山梨県がなぜ13位から3位に順位を上げたのか・・・日本修学旅行協会の担当者をはじめ、様々な分析をされていました。
理由①：感染者が少ない県であったから／「屋外の自然体験」で感染症リスクを避ける
コロナ禍で都市部への旅行を控える傾向が強まる中、感染者数が比較的少なく自然体験もできる山梨が受け皿になった。
密集を避けるため屋外での体験学習を取り入れる学校も多く、自然の多い山梨が選ばれやすかったとみられる。
理由②：行先変更のため／公共交通機関の「新幹線」を避け、「バス」で行ける場所である
首都圏の感染拡大を受け、新幹線で東京を訪れていた中京圏の学校が、目的地を近くの山梨などに変える傾向があった。
これまで人気だった東京で新型コロナウイルスの感染者が多かったことから、中京圏の学校が新幹線からバスに切り替えて山梨県を訪れたほか、関西圏に行くことが多い関東周辺の県でも東京を経由することを避けてバスで近場の山梨県に訪れたのではないかと分析している。
理由③：「安全安心」をアピールできた
県観光振興課は「グリーン・ゾーン認証制度などで安心安全をアピールできたことなどから、山梨県が選ばれたのではないか。」としています。
また、11月10日の山梨県知事の記者会見の中でも、知事の見解が述べられていました。
記者：一部報道でもありましたが、日本修学旅行協会が出した中学校の都道府県別の行き先で、山梨県が13位から3位に上がりました。その受けとめと、知事なりにどういう要因があると考えているか教えていただきたい。
回答：まず、京都と奈良に次ぐ第3位になったということは、私としては素直に喜びたいと思います。
その背景、あるいはここに至る経緯は、もちろん関連する関係者の皆さんのご尽力が最大だったと思いますが、その送り出す学校側、あるいは親御さんの気持ちを考えるに、やはり比較的感染症が蔓延しているまっただ中に送り出すというのは、なかなかこのタイミングでは難しいんじゃないだろうかと。
やはりそういう意味では、ある程度しっかりと感染制御が効いている山梨県というものが、安心して自分たちの大切なお子さんを送り出すにふさわしい場として選んでいただけたのかなと思っています。
